M-1 Challenge 61: Marcin Tybura Retains HW Title After Ante Delija Breaks Leg
Marcin Tybura remains M-1 Global’s heavyweight champion, following M-1 Challenge on Sunday, as challenge Ante Delija broke his leg in the main event’s opening round.
The injury occurred as a result of leg kick attempt from Delija, which Tybura checked. The victory returned Tybura to the win column, as in his last outing, he was stopped by light-heavyweight champ Stephan Puetz.
Tybura’s record now stands at 13-1 and Delija’s fell to 14-3.
