Manny Pacquiao

By FCF Staff

Recently Manny Pacquiao told Conor McGregor to “stay fit” for 2018, and now the boxing star’s reporting his team’s contacted the UFC champ’s about fighting.

The soon to be, 39 year-old recently told the AFP that his representatives have reached out to McGregor’s camp regarding the possibility of a boxing match. Pacquiao also said, however, that they have not had any follow up conversations.

Pacquiao, who is also a senator in his native, Philippines, said he’s hoping to fight in April.

Following McGregor’s stoppage loss to Floyd Mayweather in August, UFC President Dana White said that the UFC lightweight champ will be competing in the Octagon next. McGregor has also talked about returning to the cage, but the Irish star has also said he will need to be brought on as a partner, in order to make that happen.
