Marcus Brimage Among Latest UFC Fighters to Announce Release

Following consecutive losses to Cody Garbrandt and Jimmie Rivera, featherweight Marcus Brimage has announced he’s been cut by the UFC.
The 30 year-old fighter, who joined the promotion in 2011, announced the news via Twitter.
Got my pink slip today, I was a pleasure working for @UFC, don’t worry I’ll be back!!!
Brimage (7-5) went 4-4 during his run with the UFC. The Alabama went 3-0 to begin his tenure with the promotion, but since then, he’s dropped four of five fights.
Recently Eddie Gordon, Matt Van Buren and Christos Giagos have also confirmed they’ve been let got by the promotion.
