By FCF Staff
Just over two weeks away from his scheduled, May 25th tilt with former UFC heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos, Mark Hunt is reporting that he’s having issues leaving his native New Zealand.
The feared striker posted on his official Twitter account recently that he was hoping to head to Las Vegas, where UFC 160 will take place, to begin acclimatising to the conditions. On Thursday, however, Hunt tweeted that he was “Denied again at airport I’m never helping anymore dikhead mates.”
The 39 year-old-heavyweight also posted: “This is wat happens wen u have friends that are dikheads the last fukn time I help these mother fkn trouble makers”
According to a report from MMA Mania.com, Hunt also tweeted that “thanks to an idiot friend”, he had been “arrested” and denied at the airport. That specific tweet, however, appears to have been deleted from Hunt’s profile.
Neither UFC President Dana White or the UFC have many any statements regarding Hunt’s apparent visa issues.
Hunt is currently riding a four fight win streak which includes stoppage wins over Cheick Kongo and Stefan Struve.
