Matt Brown Threatens to “Punch” Snoop Dogg, For Comments Rapper Made About Conor McGregor
By FCF Staff
Matt Brown has made it clear he didn’t care for comments Snoop Dogg made about Conor McGregor, following the latter’s loss to boxing star Floyd Mayweather.
After McGregor was stopped by Mayweather last August, the rapper credited the UFC champ for his toughness, but not until after he insulted the Irish fighter repeatedly. Brown recently appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, and the welterweight relayed the following (quote via Bloody Elbow):
“Snoop Dogg, that piece of sh-t. I’ll call him out,” Brown said. “He called Conor a b-tch. That’s not cool, man. He put it on public. He could’ve apologized, deleted it, whatever.”
“If I see him at the UFC Performance Institute, I might just punch him.”
“That really offends me, man,” Brown added. “People have their opinions about (Conor), I respect the sh-t out of that guy. I love what he’s done, I love his shtick. I think he’s a true sportsman.”
Brown, meanwhile, is preparing to fight Carlos Condit on April 14th at UFC on FOX 29.
