Brad Pickett not only lived up to his “one punch” nickname today in Nottingham, but the British bantamweight picked up “Knockout of the Night” honors for his memorable stoppage of Yves Jabouin at UFC on FUEL TV 5.

Pickett earned the award and an extra $40,000 for the stoppage, which saw him floor the noted striker with a pounding right uppercut.

“Submission of the Night” and an extra 40 grand went to Matt Wiman, who battled his way through the vaunted grappling skills of Paul Sass, to in turn catch the lightweight with a first round armbar.

And “Fight of the Night” went to main event competitors Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic, who slugged it out until Struve put the heavyweight away with a series of strikes.

Today’s UFC on FUEL TV 5 card was hosted by Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena.
