If Conor McGregor does end up fighting Floyd Mayweather, in what will surely deliver the UFC champ a massive payday, Max Holloway questions if he’ll ever return to the Octagon.

Recently McGregor announced that he’s reached a deal with the UFC, in terms of a boxing match with Mayweather, and now talks are ongoing with the undefeated boxer. Holloway was recently asked to weigh-in on McGregor’s future in MMA, and here is some of what the interim 145 champ had to say (quote via MMA Junkie):

“Would you guys come back to MMA after a fight like that?”

“…If he wants to come back after his fight, (UFC President) Dana White knows my number. We can get it done. But after getting so many meals like that, you (wonder) if he’ll ever fight again.”

Holloway, meanwhile, is preparing to fight featherweight champion Jose Aldo on June 3rd at UFC 212.
