Maximum Fighting Championship has announced that it has signed veteran middleweight Jacen Flynn to a contract. While no details as to when the jiu-jitsu black belt will make his MFC debut have been announced, a press release from the promotion cites Brendan Kornberger and Thales Leites as roster members who could make for interesting match-ups.

“I want to fight tough guys, and I know a lot of guys say that, but I truly want those tough fights,” Flynn was quoted saying.  “I want to challenge myself.”

Flynn (10-2) is currently riding a four fight win streak which includes a first round submission win over UFC vet Edwin Dewees.

The only men to defeat Flynn during his 14 year plus career are Dean Lister and Ed Herman.

The Idaho fighter also holds a win over Lister as well as UFC and Pride vet Denis Kang.
