Megan Anderson Thanks Fans & The UFC, After Completing Contract

Recently Megan Anderson revealed that her loss to featherweight champ Amanda Nunes on Saturday was also the final fight on her UFC deal. Now Anderson has shared out a follow-up statement, in which she thanked her fans and the UFC.
The 31-year-old Anderson, who was quickly submitted by Nunes at UFC 259, posted the following statement on Twitter.

The Australian fighter’s record now stands at 11-5. Due to Nunes’ dominance, and the fact the UFC only has a few women featherweights under contract, there has been ongoing speculation the division could be cut.
But, following Nunes’ latest win at UFC 259, UFC President Dana White said the promotion intends to keep finding opponents for the champion.
