Melvin Guillard Fighting Donald Cerrone at UFC 150

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added an intriguing lightweight bout to the line-up of it’s upcoming August 11th card in Denver, as the promotion announced Friday that Melvin Guillard will take on Donald Cerrone in the co-main event.
The confirmation comes just one day after Cerrone reportedly tweeted “Well, I sure wish someone would step up for Denver.”
Guillard (30-10) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Fabricio Camoes on July 7th, after being submitted in back-to-back bouts to Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon.
Cerrone (18-4) rebounded from his UD loss to Nate Diaz last December, by scoring a unanimous decision win over Jeremy Stephens at a UFC on FUEL TV card in May.
UFC 150 will be hosted by Denver’s Pepsi Center and will feature a rematch between lightweight champion Benson Henderson and former champ Frankie Edgar in the main event.
