Rising heavyweight Anthony Hamilton extended his winning streak to six and defended the Maximum Fighting Championship title last night, by defeating Darrill Schoonover.

Hamilton worked his way to a unanimous decision win over the UFC veteran, after stopping Smealinho Rama in October to win the MFC championship.

In the card’s other feature attraction, Tom Gallicchio tapped out Kurt Southern in the second with a rear-naked-choke. Since Gallicchio didn’t make weight for the lightweight bout, however, he did not take home the MFC’s 155 pound title.

Here are the complete results from MFC 39, which was hosted by Edmonton’s Northland Expo Centre.

Anthony Hamilton def. Darrill Schoonover via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45)
