Recently Georges St-Pierre expressed an interest in fighting Michael Bisping, but the latter is also wondering if the Canadian star might be eyeing a future match-up with Conor McGregor.

Since St-Pierre relayed that he would be interested in fighting Bisping, the newly crowned, middleweight champ has said he’d be happy to face him in his return bout. But, on a recent edition of “UFC Tonight“, Bisping also said this (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“I respect him. It’d be a great honor and big challenge to fight him,” the British fighter said about GSP. “But taking me out of the equation, he should fight for the belt. He retired with it. The division has moved on since then. I’d like to see the fight between GSP and Robbie Lawler. He also hinted that he could make 155. Maybe he’s looking for a big money fight against Conor McGregor.”

Although St-Pierre has acknowledged he wishes to fight again, his representatives are still negotiating a new deal with the UFC. GSP has also said that the UFC’s uniform deal with Reebok would cost him money in sponsorships, and as a result, he would require a new contract before fighting.
