Michael McDonald Latest Ex-UFC Fighter to Sign With Bellator
By FCF Staff
Bellator has added another UFC veteran to its roster, as Michael McDonald‘s reportedly signed with the promotion.
The UFC and McDonald recently decided to part ways, following contract negotiations that frustrated the bantamweight fighter. According to a follow up report from ESPN, Bellator has confirmed that it has signed McDonald to a multi-fight deal.
The 26 year-old fighter, who has battled injuries in recent years, hasn’t fought since last July when he was knocked out by John Lineker. McDonald (17-4) moved to the UFC in 2011, from the WEC, and went 6-3 with the promotion.
Bellator has not determined yet when McDonald will make his promotional debut.
