Michihiro Omigawa vs. Jason Young Confirmed for UFC 138

By FCF Staff

The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to round out the line-up for the promotion’s upcoming November 5th event in Birmingham, England, as a featherweight bout between Michihiro Omigawa (pictured) and Jason Young has been added to the card.

Omigawa (12-10) has gone 0-2 since the Japanese fighter returned to the UFC earlier this year, however, the unanimous decision victory which was handed opponent Darren Elkins in June was widely criticized. Prior to his recent Octagon defeats Omigawa had won five straight.

Young (8-4) is also coming off a loss, as the British fighter dropped a UD decision to Dustin Poirier at UFC 131, after earning a decision win over Jorge Britto at an Entertainment MMA card in April.

UFC 138 will be hosted by Birmingham’s LG Arena at the National Exhibition Centre and will feature a middleweight bout between Chris Leben and Mark Munoz in the main event.

The card will be broadcast on Spike throughout North America.
