Mike Perry Releases Statement After Latest Loss: “I Used to be Great”

After losing his fourth fight in his last five contests on Saturday, Mike Perry posted a statement, in which he revealed he has one bout left on his UFC deal.
Perry took on Daniel Rodriguez at UFC Vegas 23, and was outstruck by the latter by a 145 to 65 margin. ‘Platinum’ lost the fight via unanimous decision.
Following the bout, Perry posted the statement below.
“I use to be great. Idk what happened. I have a fight left on my contract. I’ll train hard, I’ll give it my all for my family. Whatever I have to do to give them a better life. I’ll bleed every day for them if I have to.”
The 29-year-old Perry, who underwent a treatment program last year, now holds a record of 14-8.
