By FCF Staff
In recent months, Mike Tyson has been preparing himself for the possibility of a comeback bout, and now it’s been announced he’s going to box Roy Jones Jr.
The legends are going to box in an eight-round, exhibition match that will take place on September 12th in Carson, California.
According to a follow-up report from Yahoo Sports, the fighters will not wear headgear, but they will compete with larger, 12 oz gloves.
The 54-year-old Tyson (50-6, 2 NC) hasn’t fought since 2005, when he lost to Danny McBride.
The 51-year-old Jones Jr. (66-9) fought as recently as February 2018, and he defeated Scott Sigmon.
The upcoming fight will be available via pay-per-view.
