Mirko “Cro Cop” Receives Two Year Suspension From USADA

Following Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic’s retirement, USADA has announced that the legendary heavyweight has been suspended for two years, after violating the UFC’s anti-doping policy.
Recently “Cro Cop” announced that he was withdrawing from UFC Fight Night 79 due to a serious shoulder injury, and he also admitted to using human growth hormone. The 41 year-old fighter also proceeded to announce he was retiring.
Today, USADA announced that it has suspended Filipovic two years for the violation.
The Croatian star’s last bout took place in April and he stopped Gabriel Gonzaga in the third round.
