Muslim Salikhov Reports Withdrawal From Santiago Ponzinibbio Fight

It looks like Santiago Ponzinibbio‘s lengthy stint on the sidelines could continue, as Muslim Salikhov is reporting he’s had to withdraw from their upcoming bout.
Due to a series of injuries, Ponzinibbio (27-3) hasn’t fought now since November, 2018, when he KO’d Neil Magny. The welterweight contender was set to face Salikhov at the UFC’s January 18th card in Abu Dhabi.
But, recently Salikhov reported via his Instagram account that medical issues stemming from COVID-19 (according to translations done via Google Translate).
Salikhov (17-2) is coming off a split decision win in June.
