After months of speculation about whether Nate Diaz and Jake Paul will battle in the boxing ring, it’s been announced the stars will indeed, fight.

On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Diaz and Paul will compete in a boxing match, which will take place on August 5th in Dallas, Texas. The pay-per-view bout, via DAZN, will take place at the American Airlines Center.

The eight-round fight will be contested at 185 pounds.

Diaz, who completed his UFC deal in September by submitting Tony Ferguson, will be making his pro-boxing debut.

Paul, meanwhile, has gone 6-1 to date in pro-boxing bouts. The YouTube star is coming off a split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in February.
