Following his win over Michael Chiesa last month, Vicente Luque respectfully called for a fight with Nate Diaz, and it looks like the latter’s on board.

Luque (21-7-1) called for the match-up after he submitted Chiesa at UF 265, on August 7th. But, it wasn’t until more recently, that Diaz relayed he’s open to the bout.

After seeing Diaz’s response, it wasn’t long before Luque enthusiastically repeated his call for the match-up.

Diaz (20-13) is coming off a decision loss to Leon Edwards in June, and the star is 2-3 in his last 5 fights. Luque, on the other hand, has won four straight fights.
