Nate Diaz Says Conor McGregor is “Making More of a Scene Than Anyone Else”

Nate Diaz

By FCF Staff

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor have verbally sparred over the preceding weeks, and will likely continue to do so, but the Stockton star doesn’t seem to have anything against the latter personally.

Before Diaz was booked to fight McGregor at UFC 196, he questioned all the hype tied to the Irish fighter, and cited his own record and accomplishments while doing so. Diaz went on to submit McGregor on March 5th, and it’s been reported they”ll battle again at UFC 200.

Diaz appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight“, and while discussing McGregor, he stated (quote via FOX Sports press release):

“He’s a fighter. He’s doing his thing. He’s making more of a scene than anyone else. If everyone was speaking up then everyone would be making more. No one wants to stand up. I’ve been speaking up for years. They’re trying to quiet me down, but I beat their guy so they’re going to hear it now.”

The 30 year-old Diaz moved his record to 19-10 with his win over McGregor.
