Recently it was reported that the Nevada State Athletic Commission had fined Conor McGregor $150,000 for his involvement in the well documented, water bottle throwing incident in August, but apparently that’s not quite the case.

Recently NSAC executive director Bob Bennett informed MMA Fighting.com that the $150,000 figure that was announced by the commission, includes an estimate of the public service announcement’s value McGregor’s been asked to do. According to Bennett, McGregor was fined $75,000 for the incident, which took place a press conference prior to the fighter’s rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202.

McGregor is currently booked to fight lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 on November 12th.
