As one would expect, main event competitors Nick Diaz and BJ Penn were the top earners at this weekend’s UFC 137 card in Las Vegas, according to figures released to FCF by the Nevada State Athletic Commission today.

The former Strikeforce champion Diaz collected $200,000 for his impressive, unanimous decision win over the legendary Penn, who in turn took home $150,000.

Other top earners included heavyweight Cheick Kongo, who earned $140,000 (including a $70,000 win bonus) for his UD victory over Matt Mitrione, and veteran light-heavyweight Brandon Vera, who was paid $120,000 (including $60,000 win bonus) for his decision win over Eliot Marshall.

Here are the payouts that were disclosed to the NSAC, however, the figures below do not include any sponsorship money, special bonuses or additional funds a fighter may have collected due to pay-per-view sales etc.
