Nick Diaz Reports Talks With Nevada Commission Are “Going Well”
By FCF Staff
Following widespread outcry over the five year suspension the Nevada Commission has handed Nick Diaz, it looks as though the organization’s interested in reaching a settlement.
In September, Diaz was suspended for five years, after testing positive for marijuana earlier this year. It marked the third time Diaz has done so, but the lengthy sentence angered countless fans and fighters, and a White House petition to have the suspension reduced received over 100,000 signatures.
Diaz, who is medically licensed to use marijuana in California, recently posted the following picture and comments on Instagram:
Just spoke with my legal team at Campbell & Williams and talks with the NV athletic commission are going well. We’re working hard with them to get this right.
