by Eddie Goldman

We would first like to thank all the people in California and Iowa that helped us do our live shows there over the past two weeks. This week is a short week, as there will be live shows on Monday and Tuesday, with archive programming the rest of the week, while I am in Dallas for the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team Trials at Reunion Arena, June 22-24.

“No Holds Barred” can be heard every Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM New
York time (Eastern Time – US), only on eYada.com (http://www.eyada.com).

Also, Walt Lysak will be hosting the 2000 World Submission Grappling Championships on Saturday, June 24, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and today he previews that event with us.

Also, Zee Vjesalicu is planning to put on a women’s grappling event in the fall, and will soon open up a training facility in the San Jose, California, area. Today she tells us all about those projects, as well as what her fighting plans are.

The guests included BHJJC owner Marcus Vinicius; fighter Fabiano Iha; Doug Fischer with his predictions about the Mosley-De La Hoya fight; Neil Antin, who is in the process of starting a new television channel called “The Fight Channel”; “Judo” Mark Kompaneyets, who was a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world blue belt champion in 1998 and will be competing in the Mundials again this year; and some sagacious comments by NHB journalists Jeff Thaler and Josh Gross.

Thursday, June 22 — This will be a repeat of the May 25 show, which featured reporter Joao Pedro Tinoco of Gracie Magazine and Nino Shembri, who on May 17 in Sao Paulo became the over-95 kg division champion in the new Jiu-Jitsu Professional League, and also Kipp Kollar, president of the North American Grappling Association.

Friday, June 23 — Today’s show will be a repeat of the June 6 show, which featured Evan Tanner of the USWF telling us about his and the USWF’s return on July 8 in Amarillo, Texas, and wrestler and grappler Mario Mercado.
