NSAC Releases Attendance Figures for UFC 155, Gate Exceeds 3 Million

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s final event for 2012, which featured a highly anticipated rematch between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos, drew over three million dollars at the gate according to figures released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The UFC 155 card, which was hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 29th, collected $3,286,025 at the gate based on numbers Full Contact Fighter received from the NSAC.

In total, 13,561 people attended the event, and 10,590 of the attendees paid for tickets. 2,971 were issued as complimentary tickets.

The card’s headliner saw Velasquez dominate and punish dos Santos for five rounds, en route to a unanimous decision win and reclaiming the heavyweight championship.
