ONE FC has announced that the promotion’s upcoming, December 6th event in the Philippines, will feature a rematch between featherweight champion Koji Oishi and the nation’s own Honorio Banario.

Oishi and Banario fought in May at ONE FC 9, and the Japanese vet knocked out the latter in round two. Prior to the defeat Banario (8-2) had won two straight fights. Oishi (24-9-10), meanwhile, has gone 3-1-1 in his last five bouts.

“We are coming back to Manila to put on one of the greatest fight cards in Asian MMA history,” ONE FC CEO Victor Cui was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion. “We know that the fans have been eagerly hoping for a rematch between ONE FC World Champion Koji Oishi and Honorio Banario and we are delivering what they want. This is a must see rematch for every MMA fan on the planet. Also, we are bringing in international and national stars. Eduard Folayang and Geje Eustaquio will be on the stacked fight card.”

“ONE FC 13: Moment of Truth” will be hosted by the Mall Of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines.

The card will be streamed live throughout North America via online pay-per-view.
