Igor Svirid needed less than 20 seconds today to lay claim to ONE FC’s inaugural middleweight championship, as the Kazakhstani fighter quickly put away Brazil’s Leandro Ataides in the main event.

Svirid scored the stoppage win with a flurry of punches in just 17 seconds. With the victory, Svirid extended his record to 10-1, while Ataides’ saw his fall to 8-1.
