By FCF Staff

ONE FC has confirmed several bouts for the promotion’s upcoming, March 14th card in Malaysia, including a fight between Nobutatsu Suzuki and Brock Larson. The bout will determine ONE FC’s inaugural welterweight champion.

Suzuki (10-1-2) is coming off a first round, stoppage win over Phil Baroni at ONE FC 9 in May. Prior to the win the 36 year-old, Japanese fighter was submitted by Keita Nakamura, while competing for Vale Tudo Japan in December, 2012.

Larson (37-7) scored a unanimous decision win over Melvin Manhoef in his last outing, which took place at ONE FC 8 in April. The 36 year-old, UFC vet has won four straight bouts.

In the co-main-event, Kevin Belingon will fight bantamweight Dae Hwan Kim.

Belingon (12-3) knocked out David Aranda Santacana at ONE FC 13 in December, and Kim (9-0-1) tapped out Thanh Vu at the same event.

“Following the resounding success of ONE FC’s jam-packed events in Malaysia in 2013, we are returning to Kuala Lumpur with one of the best cards in the organization’s history,” ONE FC CEO Victor Cui was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion.

Fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting the next ONE FC World Championship title belt to be introduced, and now, the wait is over. The ONE FC Welterweight division is filled with the most talented mixed martial artists in the world and we will crown the best of the best when Nobutatsu Suzuki meets Brock Larson. Our passionate fans in Malaysia will be treated to a night of unforgettable mixed martial arts action!”

ONE FC “War of Nations” will also feature Sherilyn Lim fighting Ann Osman, who fought for the first time in October. In that bout Lim was awarded a split decision win.

The March 14th card will be available for viewing in North America via online pay-per-view.
