At the other end of the continent a young El Salvadorian-born superstar is raising eyebrows with spectacular wins while building an incredible 10 and 1 record. At only 21 years of age, IVAN MENJIVAR is one of the hottest 145 pounds fighters in the world today. His intense wrestling abilities coupled with his always improving boxing skills make him one of the most unstoppable forces in this division today. Training full time with the likes of UCC World Middleweight Champion David Loiseau and UCC Canadian Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, Menjivar is yet another superstar coming out of Montreal, Canada.

This will not be the first time these two have met in the UCC ring. Back in June 2002 at UCC 10, Ivan Menjivar scored the upset of the night by defeating Curran by unanimous decision in an all-out war. Since their first epic battle at 155 pounds, both athletes have since made the permanent drop to the Super Lightweight division. This should make for an even more exciting battle as two of the best Super Lightweight fighters in the world collide for the title at UCC 12: Adrenaline.
