ONE Championship’s massive “Century” event is scheduled to take place this Sunday in Tokyo, Japan, and the promotion’s announced the event will proceed, despite the threat of Typhoon Hagibis.

The powerful typhoon, which is considered the equivalent of a Category 4 hurricane, is expected to reach Japan this weekend.

In a follow-up press release from ONE, the promotion stated this:

We at ONE Championship thank everyone for the support.
