ONE Championship’s “First Strike” card took place today in Singapore, and it saw Superbon Banchamek capture the kickboxing featherweight crown.

Superbon faced Giorgio Petrosyan in the main event, and brutally, knocked the decorated striker out with a head kick in round two.

The event also featured the quarterfinals of ONE’s featherweight kickboxing grand prix, and Davit Kiria,  Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Chingiz Allazov and Marat Grigorian advanced with wins.

The event also saw renowned kickboxer Andy Souwer announce he is retiring, following his loss to Grigorian.
