After having his eight fight win streak snapped by Gegard Mousasi in December, Ovince St. Preux will look to get back on track against fellow vet T.J. Cook on August 18th. Strikeforce announced the light-heavyweight bout today, which will take place at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

Prior to his unanimous decision loss to Mousasi, St. Preux (11-5) had scored four straight wins with Strikeforce, which included victories over Antwain Britt and Benji Radach.

Cook (12-4) is coming off a first round, submission loss to Trevor Smith last November, after stopping Lionel Lanham at a Strikeforce Challengers event last July.

The upcoming August 18th card will be headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Ronda Rousey and former champ Sarah Kaufman.

Other bouts that have been confirmed for the event include middleweight “Jacare” Souza versus Derek Brunson and welterweight Roger Bowling versus Tarec Saffiedine.
