Parisyan, Fickett and Heden Score Wins at Worldwide MMA

It was a busy weekend for many established veterans, as not only did several high profile fighters compete on cards like Resurrection Fighting Alliance, Amazon Forest Combat and ONE FC, Worldwide MMA’s debut event featured quite a few notable names.
In the card’s main event, which went down in El Paso, Texas, Brian Heden stopped UFC vet Sean McCorkle in the second round. Prior to the loss, McCorkle had won six straight fights since exiting from the UFC last year.
In other action featuring former Octagon competitors, Karo Pariysan worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Thomas Denny to end a three fight losing streak, Rodney Wallace also scored a UD victory over Derrick Mehmen, and well travelled vet Drew Fickett tapped out Kevin Knabjian with a first round, guillotine choke.
