Paul Bradley to Make Octagon Debut at UFC 133

By FCF Staff

The UFC has confirmed that Strikeforce veteran Paul Bradley will step in for Constantinos Philippou, on August 6th at UFC 133, against his original scheduled opponent Rafael Natal. Philippou was moved to the main card yesterday and will fight Jorge Rivera, after Alessio Sakara was forced to withdraw due to a knee injury. (Pictured: Bradley (right) battling Luke Rockhold)

Bradley (16-2) will make his Octagon debut having won three straight fights. The middleweight’s last loss came in February, 2010, when he was stopped by current Strikeforce contender Luke Rockhold at a Challengers event.

Natal (12-3-1) hasn’t fought since December when he battled Jesse Bongfeldt to a draw at UFC 124. Prior to that, at the UFC Fight Night 22 card last September, the Ring of Combat vet lost by unanimous decision to Rich Attonito.

UFC 133 will be hosted by Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Arena and will feature a light-heavyweight bout between former champs Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz in the main event.
