Ross Pearson has his second bout at featherweight confirmed, as today the UFC announced that the former lightweight will meet Cub Swanson at its upcoming June 22nd event.

The fight will be part of the fourth UFC on FX card, which will be hosted by the Revel Atlantic City Resort.

Pearson (13-5) made the drop to 145 pounds in December and worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Junio Assuncao, after losing by split decision to Edson Barboza in August.

Swanson (16-5) is also coming off a win, as the WEC vet stopped George Roop in the second round at the UFC on FOX 2 event in January. Prior to the win, Swanson was tapped out by Ricardo Lamas at the first UFC on FOX card in November.

The UFC has also announced that Tony Ferguson has undergone another opponent change for his upcoming May 5th fight, as the injured Thiago Tavares will be replaced by former TUF competitor Michael Johnson.

Tavares had been brought in to replace Dennis Hallman, who originally been scheduled to fight Ferguson.

Ferguson (13-2) last competed in December and worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Yves Edwards.

Johnson (10-6) will be looking to record a second consecutive win after earning a UD victory over Shane Roller in January.

The May 5th, Johnson-Ferguson fight will be part of the promotion’s third UFC on FOX card, which will be hosted by New Jersey’s IZOD Center.
