Petr Yan to Train at ATT Ahead of UFC 259

Recently it was confirmed that Petr Yan will defend the bantamweight title against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259. Now the fighter and his camp have announced the Russian star will train with American Top Team for the bout.
Yan was originally scheduled to fight Sterling at UFC 256 last month, but the champion had to withdraw due to personal reasons. More recently it was announced that Yan – Sterling will be part of the March 6th, UFC 259 card.
Since then, Yan posted the image and comments below, which show him at ATT in Florida. The fighter’s manager has confirmed to MMA Junkie that Yan will be training out of the renowned gym for his UFC 259 camp.
The 27-year-old champion had been training with Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand for his past bouts.
Yan (15-1) won the vacant bantamweight title this past July by stopping Jose Aldo.
