The Professional Fighters League has announced that the promotion will crown a new men’s heavyweight and women’s featherweight champion before the year wraps up.

Recently, the promotion announced that former Bellator champ Vadim Nemkov (18-2) and 2024 PFL heavyweight tournament champ Renan Ferreira (13-4), will fight for the PFL heavyweight title on December 13th.

In addition, former UFC and Strikeforce champ Cris “Cyborg” (28-2) will face undefeated rising contender Sara Collins (6-0) for the PFL women’s featherweight title.

The card will take place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.

In a press release from the PFL announcing the fights, PFL CEO John Martin was quoted saying:

“French MMA fans have been tremendous supporters of the PFL, and we are proud to deliver a card worthy of their passion and loyalty. On December 13 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, fans will experience some of the biggest names and most exciting matchups in the sport, a true showcase of world champions, rising stars, and hometown heroes.”

Since the announcement was made, Martin has also clarified that the Super Fights Heavyweight title Francis Ngannou won last October by stopping Ferreira, was a one-time designation.

“Cyborg” won the Super Fights featherweight title last October by defeating Larissa Pacheco via unanimous decision.
