The PFL crowned two new champions on Friday, as Usman Nurmagomedov and Corey Anderson are now the promotion’s lightweight and light-heavyweight champs, respectively.

Nurmagomedov recorded a unanimous decision win over Paul Hughes in the card’s main event, in what was a highly anticipated rematch. Nurmagomedov narrowly defeated Hughes by majority decision in their first fight, back in January.

Anderson, meanwhile, won the light-heavyweight title by defeating Dovlet Yagshimuradov via unanimous decision.

Sergio Pettis took the next step towards fighting for the PFL’s bantamweight title, by knocking out Magomed Magomedov with a spinning back elbow.
