Jason “Mayhem” Miller has begun speaking out about his arrest earlier this month in Mission Viejo, California, after the fighter allegedly broke into a church and vandalized it. Coverage of the incident was further heightened because the UFC vet was apparently found in the church sitting naked on a couch.

According to recent posts that have appeared on Miller’s official Twitter account, the fighter is sorry for the incident and is doing okay.

I am safe, with people that love me, and hope that you will join me. If I ever hurt anyone, I am sorry.

Not a cry for attention, personal glory, or monetary Gain. I did that in my time fighting for the @UFC and Have come to see I was wrong

I did some socially unacceptable things last Sunday, that, for some reason has got some of you to hate me, even though at one time you loved

The bizarre incident occurred just a few days removed from a well documented Twitter exchange between Miller and UFC President Dana White, and several weeks after the fighter was released by the promotion.

Miller was handed a unanimous decision loss by CB Dollaway on May 26th, to follow a one sided TKO loss he suffered versus Michael Bisping in December.

Following the defeat the 31 year-old-fighter announced that his fighting career was likely over.
