After producing a season of “The Ultimate Fighter” with teams from Britain and Australia, the UFC is reportedly targeting another show with fighters from “Down Under”, except this time around they’ll battle competitors from Canada.

According to a report from the program “UFC Tonight”, which cited a source close to the situation, tryouts for the upcoming season will take place in the coming months.

Although the UFC has not confirmed the show is in the works, UFC officials have relayed in the past that Canada is a destination for an international version of the show.

The TUF “Smashes” season saw Australia’s Robert Whittaker and Britain’s Norman Parke win the welterweight and lightweight tournaments respectively.
