Luke Rockhold’s had a big year thus far, as not only has the middleweight contender gone 2-0 to date, news has surfaced that he’s signed an endorsement deal with Adidas.

The 29 year-old fighter, who is set to fight Michael Bisping at UFC FN 55 on November 8th, is the second UFC fighter to sign with Adidas. Welterweight contender Robbie Lawler is also one of the company’s representatives.

In a report from Forbes.com, Adidas Combat Sports Managing Director Scott Viscomi was quoted saying:

“Luke Rockhold is the kind of renaissance athlete a brand dreams of working with,” said Viscomi.  ”He understands what it means to be a professional Adidas athlete, and he does everything we ask of him, in addition to bringing us opportunities.  We are honored to have him on the team with Robbie and look forward to working with them as we continue our mission to add value to the USA combat sports market.”

Rockhold is coming off stoppage wins over Tim Boetsch and Costas Philippou, after being TKO’d by Vitor Belfort in May, 2013.

The former Strikeforce champ is currently ranked #5 in the UFC’s 185 division.
