Not only did Anthony Birchak have his UFC debut cancelled this weekend, but the bantamweight reportedly returned to Arizona and discovered his home had been broken into.

Birchak was scheduled to fight Joe Soto at UFC 177 on Saturday, but after Renan Barao was forced to withdraw, Soto was tapped to fight champion TJ Dillashaw. As a result, the 28 year-old Birchak was paid his show money, but did not make his Octagon debut.

Recently, the following posts appeared on Birchak’s official Twitter account:

Birchak (11-1) signed with the UFC having won five straight fights, which included winning the Maximum Fighting Championship’s bantamweight title.
