One of Canada’s leading promotions, Aggression Fighting Championship, has announced that it has signed one of the nation’s top featherweight prospects, Graham Spencer.

The Impact MMA fighter is currently riding a four fight undefeated streak which includes victories over Bibiano Fernanes BJJ black belt Bruno Capdeville and Shawn Albrecht.

“I’ve wanted to fight again in the AFC since I was on their Edmonton card a couple years back,” Spencer (8-1) was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion. “ I’ve had a lot of my teammates fight for them in British Columbia, and the organization as a whole has always treated my teammates and myself great. This is the organization that will provide the fights I need to establish myself as the top featherweight in the country. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the AFC.”

“Graham is a beast,” the AFC’s Darren Owen added. “I’ve had my eye on him for a long time and finally he’s coming to an organization where he belongs. I expect big things from him, and I know we’ll see him in the UFC sometime soon.”

No terms of the agreement were included.

Earlier in the year, Aggression MMA announced that it had merged with Canadian competitors Armaggedon Fighting Championship and AX Combat to form the much larger Aggression FC.
