Aleksander Emelianenko to Headline M-1 Challenge 32
By FCF Staff
Fresh off his stoppage win over Tadas Rimkevicius last weekend, M-1 Global has announced that Aleksander Emelianenko will return to action on May 17th. The 30 year-old-heavyweight will participate in the main event of the M-1 Challenge 32 card; however, no opponent has been confirmed yet.
The event will be hosted by the Crocus City Arena in Moscow, Russia.
Prior to his win over Rimkevicius, Emelianenko (19-5) submitted Tolegen Akylbekov with a second round Kimura at a Bushido Lithuania event in December.
The wins came after the Russian fighter had dropped back-to-back losses to Peter Graham and Magomed Malikov.
Emelianenko, who is the younger brother of former Pride champion Fedor, is 8-2 in his last 10 bouts.
