Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson recently had a heated, Twitter exchange, and the latter is standing by one of the accusations he made.

Following Gustafsson’s stoppage win over Glover Teixeira at UFC FN 109, the Swedish star relayed that he doesn’t like Jones. Gustafsson added that he doesn’t think Jones is a “good person”, which angered the former light-heavyweight champ.

Jones responded on Twitter, and argued that Gustafsson lacked “heart” in their epic, 2013 bout, which saw “The Mauler” lose by decision. Gustafsson proceeded to claim that the reason he lost, was because the UFC did not have the USADA anti-doping program in place at the time.

Gustafsson was a guest on the latest “MMA Hour” this week. When asked if he believes Jones was using some type of performance enhancing drug when they fought, the contender said this (quote via MMA Fighting):

“I believe so, I believe so,” Gustafsson said. “I think he’s been doing a lot of stuff that he shouldn’t be doing. It’s tragic to say, but I believe he’s been doing sh*t he shouldn’t for a long time.”

Jones is scheduled to face reigning, 205 champ Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, July 29th. The expectation is that Gustafsson will face the winner next.
