By FCF Staff
Not long after it was reported that Anderson Silva allegedly tested positive for steroids leading up to UFC 183, he denied using PEDs, and following additional test failures the legendary fighter has repeated that claim.
Recently it was revealed that in addition to a pre-fight, out-of-competition drug test, Silva also allegedly tested positive for banned substances in two fight day tests he was submitted.
The 39 year-old fighter recently posted the following statement on Instagram:
Silva worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Diaz at UFC 183, but if his test results stand, that result will be overturned. The former middleweight champ is currently temporarily suspended and is expected to appear in front of the Nevada Commission next month.
