Although Anderson Silva will turn 41 not long after he faces Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 83, the legend still has his sights set on reclaiming the middleweight belt.

Recently the UFC announced that Silva will face Bisping at the February 27th card, which will take place in London, England. It will mark the first time Silva has fought since last January, when he decisioned Nick Diaz, but was flagged for PED use afterwards. The former middleweight champ was suspended for a year and the bout was overturned.

Recently the Brazilian star spoke with Combate, and while doing so, Silva had this to say about his upcoming bout with Bisping (translation via Bloody Elbow.com):

“I would love it if the fight were to happen in Brazil, but it will be a pleasure to come back and fight Michael Bisping in London, at the O2 Arena.

“It has been a long time since I last fought in London and I’m really excited to come back. I believe it will be a huge test so I can go after a title shot.”

Prior to facing Diaz, Silva was stopped by now former champ Chris Weidman in consecutive fights.
