Anthony Johnson Tells Ryan Bader “Don’t Run or Hide”
By FCF Staff
Since Ryan Bader defeated Rashad Evans at UFC 192, the light-heavyweight has resumed his campaign for a title shot, but Anthony Johnson is arguing “Darth” hasn’t earned the #1 contender spot quite yet.
Bader worked his way to an impressive, decision win over Evans on October 3rd, and in doing so, recorded his fifth straight win. Following the victory, the powerful wrestler has argued he’s earned a fight with champion Daniel Cormier, and that he’s not interested in fighting Johnson.
Recently Johnson took to Facebook, and relayed the following challenge to Bader:
Johnson hasn’t fought since this past May, when he was submitted by Cormier. Prior to that, the heavy handed fighter stopped Alexander Gustafsson in January.
“Rumble” is currently ranked #1 in the UFC’s 205 division and Bader is sitting in the #3 position.
