Anthony Johnson Weighs 204.2 Pounds, Fight With Vitor Belfort A Go

By FCF Staff

After coming in at 197 pounds, 12 pounds over the 185 pound middleweight limit, during official UFC 142 weigh-ins yesterday, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (10-3)  re-hydrated and tipped the scales at 204.2 pounds, just under the 205 pound cut-off he was given by UFC officials.  Johnson’s Pay-Per-View fight with Vitor Belfort (20-9) will go on as planned.

Johnson will still be forced to fork over 20 percent of his purse as a fine for missing weight yesterday.  The money will be given to Belfort.

UFC President Dana White, who proclaimed that Johnson’s failure to make weight yesterday was “complete and absolute unprofessionalism” and that Johnson’s job is on the line tonight.
